Season Three, Episode 6

Cynthia Plaster Caster is probably the most famous groupie of all time. Aside from being known for ‘hanging around’ with the likes of Led Zeppelin, she rose to fame for her party trick – making casts of her conquests’ penises. Jesse meets her in Camden to see if she’s still going strong and he takes a close look at some of her most attractive casts including that of Jimi Hendrix.

Hearing about a new generation of young metal fans who have turned their back on what they see as lame modern metal and only listen to the original sound from the 70s, Jesse goes to a house party where only metal from that era is played and headlining the night is up an coming London band Amulet who blow Jesse away. They invite him to a heavy metal karaoke night the following night which is an offer he can’t refuse.

For Jesse’s last night in the UK, he ventures over to Islington Academy for the Diamond Head show where he’s arranged to meet the only roadie he could find who has worked with all of the A list of UK metal from Led Zep and Sabbath, to Motorhead, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Bob Mitchell aka Pitbull or as Lemmy calls him, One Man Army Corps, did not hold back from telling some classic stories from the road.
