Marshall Headphones - Be aware of counterfeit products

Unfortunately, there are counterfeit products on the marketplace right now and, and in many cases, it is almost impossible to say if your product is genuine by looking at a photo or a serial number.

Counterfeiters go to great lengths to make their products look genuine, they apply serial numbers to the products that copy genuine Marshall Headphones products' serial numbers, and their packaging is extremely close in appearance. However, they do not meet the high-performance standards found in genuine Marshall Headphones products. In most cases, we would need to disassemble a product and perform a listening test to know if it’s authentic or not. Because of the number of duplicated serial numbers, a serial number check is not a reliable means of confirming that a product is authentic.

If you suspect that you have purchased a counterfeit, we recommend that you return the product and purchase a new one from or from one of our authorised retailers online or in a physical store. You can find a list of authorised retailers here.

Marshall takes counterfeiting seriously and defends its intellectual property rights from counterfeiting by working with local authorities to conduct investigations, raids, and court actions against counterfeit manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. Marshall constantly monitors the internet for websites, e-commerce marketplaces, and social networks selling counterfeit goods.

Every year, Marshall is successful in taking down illegal websites and social network pages. We also work directly with the major e-commerce marketplaces in cleaning up their sites from counterfeit goods.
