Back to Black
Major II Black
An impressive second act, the classic Major kicks up its performance a few notches. Updated sound, looks and durability, as well as improved ergonomics, give way to a whole new level of listening. A rock-solid character that’s built to last, the Major II makes its presence known.
It’s more advanced sound features include customised drivers, to deliver deeper bass and more extended detailed highs with a refined mid- range and overall lower distortion.
The detachable double-ended coil cord with mic and remote is equipped with an L-plug end, providing improved durability and carrying ease. The dual 3.5 mm jacks allow you to choose which side you prefer to wear your cable on or to plug in and share your music with a friend.
The Major’s already classic good looks upgrade to a more rounded construction and extra durable vinyl finish.
With its newly constructed hinges and headband design, the Major II fits better than ever. Allowing for increased flexibility and the ear caps to rotate more freely, the Major II adapts to your head shape for increased comfort during those long listening sessions.
True to form, The Major II is yet another solid work-horse manufactured in the trademark Marshall way.
Customer ratings & reviews
They are beautiful and sound so clean.
Perfect size, solid construction and adorably sexy. They sound awesome too. Having the volume control, (up/down on the control knob), is a great feature. I use them mostly with my equally impressive Marshall guitar amplifier and they sound much better than I expected.
As one reviewer said before, my ear had an orgasm while listening ... The only bad part is that the plastic bits that keeps the headphones - where they flex to collapse - broke after few months of usage. Glued them back together and everything is fine since then.
Amazing Sound Experience
Amazing sound experience. I love the style and the simple solutions like two ways of plugs, right or left side as also the possibility to connect to another person's headphone.
Good sound, shaky construction
Very good Sound. Absolutely worth the Money. Only Thing ist, that the hinges for the ear cushions are very small. Mine broke after half a year of use :(. On the one side, the collapsible construction is very useful, but on the other side, it is very shaky and prone to misuse.
Great sound + Sleek Design
Bought the black Major II, showed up -4 days. Headphones it self look sexy, sound great. Im listening to buckethead, Dreamtheater, etc... the guitar sound so crisp n clear. This ear of mine ejaculated twice through half point of a track...
Perfect headphones, with minierror
Absolutely fantastic headphones. I'm very selective about the tone and bass, these headphones are perfect for that. Look good, do after a long wear something hurt
What is also super, are the two connections, unfortunately is on the one hand a wackelkontakt, which makes me very annoyed. Luckily the other side works. Recommended. I hope they hold long since I actually use them daily
best headphone around 100
- everlasting design and anti mainstream
- good build quality and durability
- sound quality amazing, enough bass, good mid, and comfort high
- no carrying pouch :(
Great look and balanced sound
I like the look and also the balance of bass and treble. Other brands just focus more on the bass which suppresses other sound qualities of the music that you can appreciate.
Blows more expensive headphones out of the water
My budget was $500 - I tried so many headphones - all the top brands but none of them had the depth of the Major II. I was only looking 'cause my son purloined my Major I's.
For the price - these are amazing
I love it but volume controls and carrying case would've been nice
I love the sound and the design. I just wish that there's volume control so I can easily adjust the sound. I also wish that they included a carrying case since I bring it with me most of the time.
